Hatha Yoga

Hatha yoga utilises movement, breath work and relaxation techniques to develop: flexibility, strength, balance, good posture, correct alignment, concentration, and focus. It is also a valuable way to relieve tension and stress and improve your sense of wellbeing. This type of yoga is immediately practical to modern life, and the student builds up a tool kit to use in many different situations. Yoga is much more than an exercise class: it is an holistic system for health of body, mind and spirit.
Transformation Hatha Yoga is gentle and attainable for everyone. Yoga is non-competitive and we look to stretch, not strain, the body. Our classes are small so that students can have individual attention, and the yoga can be adapted to each person’s needs. Our experience in healthcare means that we are happy to welcome students with a wide range of needs, and Dr Nicholson has a particular interest in using yoga therapeutically. However, Hatha Yoga is also great for those who are fit and well, providing an opportunity for students to look after themselves, release, relax and revitalise.
